ARE ALL YOUR LAMPSHADES IN STOCK?

All our lampshades & cushion covers are available in physical stock but will need be made after purchase once we know item specific's ie. item size, fabric etc, all these items are bespoke/handmade to order and are classed as non returnable, returns are at our discretion. Please refer to our returns policy here

DO YOU OFFER SAMPLES?

We offer a free fabric and inner lining samples but i'm afraid not vintage fabrics, please do not rely on computer screens for exact colours as different monitors may show colours differently to originals colours. Order free samples here 

CAN THE SHADES BE USED FOR A TABLE LAMP?

Our shades fit both standard UK & European table/floor lamp & ceiling fittings 

WHAT ARE THE FITTING SIZES?

European fitting (40mm) with a British removable adaptor (28mm) will fit all types of lamp holder

WHAT BULB SHOULD I USE?

Low energy bulbs are strongly recommended, we recommend that you use a bulb of maximum 60W Standard, 48W Halogen or 12W LED

WHY DO YOU ASK FOR LAMPSHADE FITTING ON SOME SHADES?

As our shades fit both table & ceiling fittings we ask for the shade use so we can make sure we can have the pattern of the fabric the correct way up, if you have an arc floor lamp the fitting will need to be at the top of the shade and you will need a ceiling fitting. Plain fabric shades can be used either way round

WILL MAY LAMPSHADE BE EXACLTY THE SAME AS PHOTO?

Pattern placement will vary to listing photo, we can not guarantee pattern placement due to wastage

WHY IS THE COLOUR OF FABRIC SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT PHOTO?

Please do not rely on computer screens for exact colours, as different monitor screens will show colours differently to originals colours 

CAN YOU MAKE BESPOKE SIZES?

We can make bespoke sizes on our lampshades & cushion covers, we can make some shades up to 60cm wide. Most shades with pattern on website can not be made wider due to width of fabric, please contact us for a bespoke cost 

WILL THE LIGHT SHINE THROUGH THE SHADE?

Due to the thickness of some fabrics and inner lining's the light on most of our shade's will tend to disperse from the top and bottom of the shade and not the sides, if your shade has a one of brushed inner linings inside there will/may be a hue of the lining colour. The larger the shade the more light you will have, the glow of the lining colour will be stronger with a smaller lampshade
